I know i’m pessimistic but I find these quotes to often mirror stupidity or lack of acceptance to reality. It’s like telling to me to find beauty if and when I accidentally step on a piece of dog shit. There are times when optimism can’t fix anything and beauty is just a mere excuse to ignore the truly ugly things. There will always be ugly things and beautiful things, but it doesn’t mean that there was always be something ugly in the beautiful or something beautiful in the ugly. So it is up to me to find the beauty in the ugliest things but it doesn’t mean it’s always there and it goes the same for trying to find something ugly in beautiful things, but it also doesn’t mean it’s there either.
